By Scott Billing 08/13/2019, 5:30pm MDT

Eagle Youth Lacrosse will be holding a Middle School fall/spring informational meeting this Thursday, August 15th at 6PM. We'll be meeting at Idaho Pizza Co. in Eagle. It's the best of both worlds... Pizza and LAX!

We'll discuss this fall's 7v7 program, the Kyle Harrison Clinic, Spring Tryouts (which will actually be held at the beginning of November this year) and our Spring Eagle Youth Lacrosse Select Program which will be taking a BIG leap forward this year! Good stuff! We'll also leave plenty of time for Q & A and to meet the new Middle School Coaches.

Looking forward to seeing you all this Thursday.

By Scott Bandy - President 06/04/2019, 8:15pm MDT

Field of dreams

A board position of field manager has opened up and will need to be filled in the next month.  This position includes:  ordering supplies for the upcoming season (paint, storage cubby, port a potty), equipment set up (field layout, stringing cages, transporting equipment to and from the field).

This position has to be filled sooner than later so you can begin attending monthly board meetings and getting acquainted with the position before the fall season begins.   If you would like to view the job description go to

If you feel this is something that interests you please email to receive a link to fill out an application for the Eagle High Lacrosse Board.

Thank you,

This is a great way to make a difference in our club.  If we don’t have volunteers we won’t have a field to play on.

Tomorrow's Championship Game: Eagle vs Boise 7:30PM

By Scott Billing 05/17/2019, 7:45pm MDT

Good Afternoon IHSLL Members,

The 2019 IHSLL season will conclude tomorrow at Dona Larsen Park in Boise with what promises to be two excellent games. Tonight we find out who will be represented in the Class B Championship game. Below are the details on tomorrows games.

The main parking lot at Dona Larsen Park has limited parking, we anticipate it will fill quickly. We have made arrangements for overflow parking at the Washington Group parking lot (720 Park Blvd, Boise, ID 83729 ). Parking will be $5.00 per car. Attached is a map showing the directions to the parking lot.

Gates will be open to the public at 4:00 PM. We plan on having three volunteers working the ticket booth. We will have two credit/debt devices on hand so people have the convenience of using a card. Two lines will be for cash or card and the other line will be a dedicated line just for cash. Please be patient if you are in a credit/debt line. Gate fees are as follows:

$7.00 Adult,

$4.00 (student with ID card),

$2.00 (Senior 65+ or children 10-13 without a lacrosse jersey)

All Youth Lacrosse players attending the game in their jersey are free to attend

Dona Larsen Park event team will have five security people on site to manage the event, they will be wearing colorful shirts to identify themselves. Spectators with bags will have their bags quickly searched upon entry. Please note that no outside food is allowed, concessions will be available on site. Spectators are being kept on the bleachers near the ticket booth side, spectators will not be sitting in the bleachers behind the players (closest to the press-box). Spectators are NOT allowed on the track area, you must stay behind the fence. The event staff will be on hand to enforce this so please abide by the rules of the rental.

Teams will be allowed to take the field for the first game at 3:30 PM. We will have bathrooms open near the press-box, bench side, so players do not need to go all the way around to use the bathroom. BSU does not allow any type of seed or gum to be on the turf, coaches please respect the policies.

The IHSLL Class B Championship game starts at 5:00 PM. We will have the National Anthem at 4:50 PM followed by the player introduction and starting lineups at 4:52 PM.

The IHSLL Class A Championship game starts at 7:30 PM. We will have the National Anthem at 7:20 PM followed by the player introductions and starting lineups at 7:22 PM

The Class A and Class B Championship winner will come over to the track area for the trophy presentation after the team handshakes. Spectators must stay in the bleachers for this. With regards to the Class B Championship game, after that game wraps up and the Class B Champion has made their way over to the track area the Class A teams may take the field for stretching. We will need to transition the Class B Champion over to the track area to clear the field for the Class A warmups. We ask that the Class A teams warming up be respectful to the Class B team receiving their trophy. Please keep the noise level at a reasonable level until after the Class B team has received their trophy.

After the Class A Championship game we will ask the same. Class A team shake hands with the other team and than come over to the track area for the trophy presentation. We will have roughly 15 minutes after the game for the trophy presentation.

Looking forward to a great weekend of Lacrosse. If any additional items come up we will send another email.

Tom Blanchard

IHSLL Vice-Commissioner
