CDH Guides for GameDay

By Mark Eriksen 09/19/2020, 8:15am MDT

We are very excited to have another Gameday for our young men.  Thank you for all your support and embracing the Eagle Lacrosse Program.  We are doing our best to provide a safe environment for players, coaches, and spectaculars.   Everyone plays a role.

Under current Central District Health mandates, they are allowing 50 spectaculars per team. We are respectfully asking that we limit 2 spectaculars per player and wearing a mask is mandatory with proper social distance between groups.  If you have any questions, Board members will available on the sideline to provide guidance and answer any questions.

We've got a few final updates for you and an URGENT request regarding our trip to Seattle next month.

And... away we go!

1) Urgent!  Seattle:  Scott Bandy sent an email earlier this week regarding your confirmation that you're making the trip to Seattle.  If you haven't already done so, please respond to his email IMMEDIATELY with your confirmation.  As a reminder from our team meeting in January, we are expecting you all to make this trip a priority.

2) EHS Men’s Lacrosse Team Store is CLOSES TOMORROW!!  White team socks are a required part of your game day uniform and, you'll have a hard time beating the price BSN has given us on Nike Dri-fit Socks.  While your at it... pick up some additional 'Stangs Swag.  A portion of each purchase comes back to our club, and is part of our fundraising efforts.  You have 24 hours left to get in all that 'Stangs Swag before it finally closes.  Here's the link: bsnteamsports.com/shop/20LAXEHS

3)  Sports Engine Mobile App:  Now that our rosters have been set, you'll be able to have access to that team(s) on Sports Engine Mobile.  Parents, we'll be communicating with you primarily via Sports Engine.  The mobile app is the best way to keep up to speed on the go with your busy LAX lives.  Download from your favorite app store, sign in to your Sports Engine account, search EHS, find Varsity and/or JV, and hit the star to make it a favorite and... you should be good to go!

4)  Website:  Update emails will decrease DRASTICALLY from this point moving forward (which is a good thing for your in-baskets).  Most everything will be communicated to the players via Hudl or at practice.  Things move fast and furious, especially at the season start.  The vast majority of information for you moving forward will be found on the home page of ehslax.com , the calendar tab, and/or your team page.  Individual team pages can be found under Programs/EHS Men’s Lacrosse/EHS Men’s Varsity (or EHS Men’s JV).  We update the website frequently.  While you’re on the site, check out everything we have going on under the “General Info” and “Pride” tabs.  We recommend you log into ehslax.com and look for updates AT LEAST weekly.

Looking forward to getting to work!  Games are only 2-3 weeks away.

Tryout Week Updates

By EHS Men’s Lacrosse 02/19/2020, 10:00pm MST

Well, we're a couple of days into tryouts and we'd just like to say that although there's definitely some rust to be brushed off our sticks, we're happy overall with the boys efforts on the field.  A few updates to get you through the week:

1) Final Roster Postings will be uploaded onto the site after the final day of tryouts on Friday.   Your boys will know what team(s) they're playing on before they leave the field that day.

2) EHS Men’s Lacrosse Team Store is OPEN!!  You have 3 days left to get in all that 'Stangs Swag before it finally closes on Monday, 2/24.  Here's the link: bsnteamsports.com/shop/20LAXEHS

3)  Hudl Account:  Please remember that we’ll be using Hudl for ALL PLAYER COMMUNICATION this spring.  Most of you are active, but a few of you still need to dial in your accounts. Please remember, we coaches, can see not only who is notified, but also, who reads their notifications.  We recommend placing your notification setting at persistent.  That way you’re less likely to miss an important update from your coach.

4)  Sports Engine Mobile App:  Once your player is assigned to a team, you'll be able to have access to that team on Sports Engine Mobile.  Parents, we'll be communicating with you via Sports Engine.  The mobile app is the best way to keep up to speed on the go with your busy LAX lives.  Download from your favorite app store, sign in to your Sports Engine account, search EHS, find Varsity or JV, and hit the star to make it a favorite and... you should be good to go (after team assignments)!

5)  Website:  Things move fast and furious, especially at the season start.  The vast majority of information can be found on the home page of ehslax.com , the calendar tab, and/or your team page.  Individual team pages can be found under Programs/EHS Men’s Lacrosse/EHS Men’s Varsity (or EHS Men’s JV).  While you’re on the site, check out everything we have going on under the “General Info” and “Pride” tabs.  We recommend you log into ehslax.com and look for updates AT LEAST weekly.

Looking forward to a couple more days of healthy team competition, and then to getting into games in a few short weeks.
